Many of my client's have wanted a web presence for quite awhile before they took action. It is helpful to have an idea and content for your site. There are many questions to ask yourself prior to the design and development of a web site. You have to ask yourself:

• who is my target audience
• what is the purpose of your site: information, sales, online brochure, etc.
• what existing web sites do I like (look, navigation, colors, etc.)
• what preferences do I have in regards to type fonts, colors and layout design
• do I have printed materials to work from
• do I have graphics/photos for my site or will I need pictures taken

Hosting
I will work with you to find the hosting arrangements for your web site that suit your needs. Although I am not an Internet Service Provider, I will be happy to cooperate with the ISP of your choice, or I can recommend some great hosts for you.

Development
In regard to the development of your site, your material will be considered on an individual basis to achieve the results you want. In most cases, your written materials can be used to produce your website, keeping a common theme throughout your business. During the development process, I will post your web pages in a private location on the Internet for your review. We'll make the changes you request until you're satisfied with what you see.

Graphics
If you do have images that you would like to use for your site, I will scan them or will be able to receive them electronically.

If you do not have graphics available for your site, I will be able to provide you with images (I have many terrific images available) or I will personally take digital images for you.

Maintenance
After initial set-up, you may wish to update your pages occasionally to incorporate changes in your information or simply to achieve a fresh look. Work is billed on an "as needed" basis. There are no minimum charges.
